Photography is a passion with Clarissa Guggenheim. Beginning with the environment around her, Rissy honed her skills with whatever camera came her way. Over time, and with the eye of a professional, she grew into her work. Since 1998, she has been with the El Pilar Program in the field, at the lab, and for the ceremonies. Her work brings her love of Latin America, the Maya forest, and the people together, and has been featured at the Rolex Awards, on our web site, and in our publications.
